Eccoci qui per una nuova puntata della rubrica dedicata alle uscite editoriali internazionali. Oggi parliamo di libri speciali, non limitandoci solo alle nuove uscite, ma occupandoci anche di nuove edizioni di romanzi già pubblicati che ho ritenuto molto interessanti.
Per prima cosa vi presento il sequel di “Daughter of Smoke & Bone”, in Italia conosciuto come “La chimera di Praga”, dell’amatissima scrittrice americana Laini Taylor, le cui storie (oltre le copertine favolose) sono apprezzatissime dai lettori, con una media di 4 stelline assegnate su Goodreads.
Un’altra storia appena rilasciata nel Regno Unito che sembra voler riavvicinare i ragazzi al mondo fantastico dei nani è “Jepp, Who Defied the Stars” di Katherine Marsh, che dalla critica è stato osannato come un avvincente “Philippa Gregory” per ragazzi.
Spostandoci verso le nuove edizioni e romanzi già pubblicati da un po’, ma non per questo di minore impatto, vi segnalo anche l’edizione brossura della nuova fatica di Cecelia Ahern “One Hundred Names” e una nuova versione delle favole dei fratelli Grimm curata dall’autore della trilogia “Queste oscure materie” Philip Pullman, il cui titolo varia dalla versione inglese a quella americana.

First, let me introduce you to the sequel of "Daughter of Smoke & Bone" by the beloved American writer Laini Taylor, whose stories – besides their fabulous covers – are very much appreciated by readers, with an average of a 4-star rating on Goodreads.
In the UK, there is another novel already released which seems to want to reconnect children to the wonderful world of dwarves: I am talking about "Jepp, Who Defied the Stars" by Katherine Marsh, who was hailed by critics as an exciting "Philippa Gregory" for kids.
Last but not least, I recommend you the paperback edition of Cecelia Ahern "One Hundred Names" and a new version of Grimm tales edited by "His Dark Materials" author Philip Pullman, whose title varies from the English version to the American.
