Appuntamento
ricchissimo quello di questo mese di Aprile con la letteratura
internazionale: il risveglio primaverile sembra aver investito le
case editrici anglosassoni tanto da presentarci un corposo ed
eterogeneo carnet di romanzi di cui ho dovuto fare (a fatica)
un’accorta selezione, nutrita dai pareri raccolti dalle librerie e
dai vari lettori su Goodreads. Vi ricordo che alla fine dell’anno
vi avevamo presentato una raccolta dei migliori libri che sarebbero
stati pubblicati in questa prima parte dell’anno, e che il libro
più atteso di Aprile era A
God in Every Stone
di Kamila
Shamsie,
considerata una dei giovani talenti della letteratura inglese, che
però sta dividendo il pubblico lettore: con una media di quasi 4
stelline su Goodreads, registra commenti entusiastici e allo steso
tempo critiche brutali. Ma ecco ciò che ho raccolto per voi per
questo mese, decisamente dedicato al Fiction nelle sue variegate
sfumature, alla letteratura per l’infanzia e al mistery. Vi aspetto
a maggio per un nuovo viaggio nella letteratura internazionale.

international literature world is full of new proposals. Spring
awakening seems to have led publishers to introduce a great variety
of books that I had to carefully select, thanks to the opinions
collected from bookstores and readers on Goodreads. At the end of the
year we showed you a collection of the best books that were to be
published in this first part of the year and the most anticipated one
for April was A
God in Every Stone
by
Kamila Shamsie,
who is considered as one of the young talents of English literature.
However, the book has divided readers, with an average of nearly 4
stars on Goodreads, gaining at the same time rave reviews and brutal
criticism. But here is what I picked up for you this month; April is
definitely dedicated to fiction in its various genres, from
children's literature to mystery. I'll be waiting for you on May with
a new look at the international literature.
